Bah, album DNA dan FOP3 sudah pun keluar. Album DNA atau dengan nama panjangnya Delivered and Alive mengandungi 10 lagu. Antara lagu-lagu yang ada dalam album ini ialah DNA, Kami puji syukur, Gerakan, Kasih, Center of My Heart, Dengarkanlah, Masa Depan yang Kau janjikan, My Friend, Sempurna, Ku Berlari. Boleh dikatakan semua lagu dalam album ini memang hebat2 belaka hehehe.. Band ini dianggotai oleh Wilson, Bob, Reydus (Vocalists), Peter(Keyboard), Andy (Drummer), Davy (Bassist), and Gary (Guitarist).

Festival Of Praise 3 (FOP3) juga sudah pun keluar, Genre album ini lebih kepada pujian dan penyembahan (ala-ala True Worshippers but this is local made and it's just awesome urang putih bilang). Mereka mengeluarkan DVD, VCD, dan juga CD.

Baru-baru ini Danny FM (DFM) dan Joy (Juara sugandoi 2009) merakam 3 lagu di DEQ. Dua lagu pertama dalam BM yang hanya dinyanyikan oleh beliau sendiri sementara lagu Dusun adalah duet. Lagu-lagu ini lebih kepada sentimental la, kira trademark c DFM sdh baini :). Anyway the songs are good. Arrangement belum buat lagi tetapi ada sudah plan macamana mau buat. Ada saya tanya dia kenapa tidak buat dalam KadazanDusun saja, dia bilang mau capture bigger market la. Bagus juga la macam tu, tapi peminat setia DFM jangan risau ada juga bah lagu KD dia tu.

DNA is on track to complete their album on time. This week, FND the guitarist telah memasukkan guitar line dalam hampir semua lagu. What's good about it is, sekarang ni baru boleh nampak the fullness of the music.. ada beberapa instruments lain yang perlu diedit juga. The member (DNA) very excited about this... sa pun hehehe... jadi for those who can't wait this album keluar.. sabar sabar dulu kio.

Alvin MY also menghabiskan vokal take untuk lagu "Learning U". Waduuu... fantastic song la, bah sa saja yang boleh dengar sekarang la (sama Alvin la) sebab blm mixing lagi huhuhu.. wait till I come back from mansau-ansau. Last Wednesday kami juga merakam another demo, great clubbing song with ethnic flavour sikit2. Bah, kamurang tunggu2 la ya.

1. Thomas S gave me one song to arrange untuk last song dimasukkan dalam album beliau.
2. FOP3 it's over tetapi ada overdub here and there, ada beberapa lagi, tunggu sampai sa balik la ok :)
3. Another artists (Jenifer) bagi sa her song untuk dengar.. baru muzik sa dengar dari arranger yang berbakat dari kumpulan T-Street iaitu Reuben Fingerstylo. She will be in the studio mungkin bulan 8 atau 9 la.

Wah, lama juga saya tidak update blog ni. Been busy for the last few weeks. Few projects are concurrently running... however saya ingin update semua mengenai concert FOP3 yang telah berjalan pada minggu terakhir bulan May. The concert memang best. about 700 strong crowd datang menyaksikan concert. Persembahan dimulakan dengan "countdown" diikuti dengan intro, dan lagu2 ciptaan mereka sendiri. Kira bukan peringkat kampung2 lagu la hehehe... walaupun it's praise and worship concert tapi boleh dibanggakan. Para pemuzik, penyanyi dan penari have done their best part. Walaupun there are some glitches here and there but you know la kan.. nobody's perfect bah.

Others, Alvin MY ada merekod dan sedang dalam pembikinan single beliau... tajuk lagu belum ada, maybe tajuk dia "If I" hehehe.. tapi tingu la nanti dia bilang. Next week, he'll come untuk "finish off" yang belum lagi siap.

DNA - Davy the bassist telahpun memasukkan bass untuk 4 lagu.. another 6. This Sunday afternoon dia akan datang untuk another 6 songs.

Are you ready for FOP3? You are all invited to come for the concert (sorry x free hehehe). Mereka sudah menyediakan 12 lagu untuk recording but for the concert they will perform 18 to 20 songs. This few days, they're busy preparing macam2... stage, sound reinforcement, props, practice etc. For those who excited to attend, you can come to Maskak Hall (Likas) this Saturday (30 May, 7pm). You can buy tickets at the entrance.

Beberapa hari lepas, team muzik yang terlibat dalam FOP3 telah mengadakan demo live untuk team ini dapat berlatih dalam satu team.

Sekarang ini mereka ada 8 lagu sudah. Most of the their arrangement is above average. Song - quite good too, and mostly catchy juga... buleh buat kita 'move' and most of all it's praise and worship songs.

Singers pun tidak kurang hebat juga.. they're from various denominations.

For your information, the concert will be held at Dewan Maksak Likas on the 30th of this month (May). I will update you dalam beberapa hari ini.

Delivered and Alive sudah mengabiskan recording vocal. Liou dan Wilson masuk studio hari ahad lepas sampai jam 11 malam. Walaupun ada beberapa masalah sedikit dari segi technical tapi boleh diatasi hehehe.. Anyway, mereka juga 'repair' beberapa lagu yang dirakam sebelum ini supaya lebih mantap. Andy (drummer) sedang (atau sdh) dalam perjalanan balik Sabah dari Maldives, kami rancang mo retake mengunakan drum yang lain. Bass dan gitar pun belum masuk lagi.. so harap2 sebelum bulan 8 ni siap la album DNA.. pasti best hehehe.

Good day everybody! KENTE Final 2009 will be held at KDCA (17 Apr 2009, 7pm). Penganjur http://www.kadusmusic.com bilang free masuk (inda tipu). Jangan lepas peluang ni OK. Alright, just want to highlight one contestant, her name is Joy. I had helped her to create minus 1 for several songs. She will sing 2 songs - song from Winnie Kuntip and either (Matahariku - Agnes Monica or Langit Ke 7). Mempunyai suara yang tinggi dan mantap. Personally I have not seen any the other contestants tapi for sure this final will be great.

FOP3 is on its final month of preparation, 8 songs sudah diarrange dan tinggal recording and it's going to be LIVE.

Good day everybody! bah untuk update minggu ini.. i had mixed and mastered single dari T-Street, a hiphop group from Tambunan. Kumpulan ini dianggotai oleh dua anak muda hensem FingerStylo and Kudique. Tajuk lagu adalah Show Us (some Love) (betul kaitu FingerStylo?!) hehehe..

They'll send the single to few radio stations this few days so... harap2 kita boleh dengar the song on air nanti. Bah, that's all.

ps: do you know ka yg lagu "Hinongo" yang dinyanyikan oleh Infinitez dicipta oleh FingerStylo dan pernah di record di D'EQ last year? Ya... gitu2 la cerita dulu2.. memang best lagu tu. well done FingerStylo and to Alvin (Infinitez)... great job!

After sending my kids to school and wife, saya ambik Xcella untuk session recording. Oleh kerana masih pagi, we had our breakfast near Beverly Hills. After breakfast, terus pigi studio. Setup all the rigs, then we adjust the correct code for her. The tune was a bit higher for her, we lowered them few semitones.

The recording session was going well (she's a good singer). Lebih kurang 4 jam juga untuk habis kan 2 lagu that's including voicing.

Others: DNA - got a song from Liou (blm ada arrangement)
Festival Of Praise: First session (City Mall) was not going well, however we'll plan a better solution for live instrument recording.

I composed 2 songs this week :). One song given to XCella and the other "maybe" DNA. Been trying to compose few days but x idea bah then while I was in the studio, tengah2 main piano (cari ilham) then I get dia punya first phrase, then sya develop from there. XCella might be coming next monday for the recording session, will do 2 songs. So far 2 songs had been recorded, 2 songs this monday and another 6 more to go :(, well orang bilang palan2 bah.

DNA had completed 9 songs. 1 song, tune had been laid tapi x lyrics.. emailed to DNA members if anyone got a good lyric idea.. so far no feedback :).

Anyway, have a good weekend guys. See u again minggu depan.

ps: notice that this blog a bit boring without picture. will try to capture some of the action in the studio utk kamurang hehehe.

First, Danny FM telah merakam satu lagu untuk pertandingan CATS (Carta Artis Tempatan Sabah) yang diadakan pada pertengahan bulan ni. For your info, dia juga menyertai Juara Lagu Dusun (JLD) yang akan diadakan di Ranau this weekend.

Joanna Sue Henly Rampas juga sedang membuat minus one utk beberapa lagu-untuk persiapan Bintang RTM... mari kita sokong sumandak ni hehehe..

Others - I'm currently mixing TStreet (kumpulan dari Tambunan - modern music), Jason Jay is recording single (nice song).

Ahad (21 Feb 09), Wilson telah datang ke studio untuk mengabiskan 3 lagu tetapi tidak kesampaian :). Bukan kerana tidak terrer tapi ada masalah sedikit dengan melodi dan lirik lagu. So i decided to change the last song. Lagu belum lagi di tentukan but DNA is planning to make another song untuk dimasukkan ke dalam album DNA.

I been away for a week plus now (Penang -> KL) to conduct some training. Will be back again this Saturday (7 March 09). Datang2 ja, I have a recording session with Danny FM and Jennifer.

Baru2 ni, sa pigi Miri to do some 'tuition' hehe.. Sebenarnya sa pigi 'tolong' a new company called Z-Studio setting up their studio. So I was there dalam 3 hari show them something that I know (walaupun x terrer) tapi just want to share my very little knowledge to friends. So, I hope after this, there will be many albums coming out from the Miri town.

Ok, Thomas S sdh merakam 9 songs, another 3 songs mungkin yg dia mo kasi masuk. DNA already 7 songs tinggal 3 lagi (Wilson part). He (wilson) will be in the studio this Sunday(22.2.09) afternoon utk kasi abis his part.

Thomas Sugara sedang giat membuat recording for his 6th album. Sudah 4 lagu yang sudah dirakam dan tinggal 6 lagi. He is planning to record all songs this month (kalo buleh la dia bilang hehehe). Masih banyak lagi yang dibuat. After this, music need to re-arrange nicely supaya setanding dengan indon (dia bilang hehehe). Then sessionist kena panggil untuk ambik take, then backing then mixing then mastering... waduhhh buleh siap ka bulan 3 ni amacam? kita tunggu dan lihat.

DNA Update. Liou sudah habiskan dia punya lagu, tadi Bob masukkan vox untuk 2 lagu. Kita plan 4 songs but x jadi sebab ada aral melintang hehehe.. anyway kami akan continue maybe tomorrow kalo everything ok. So, ada 5 lagu lagi perlu direkod, then music arrangement perlu di-touchup here and there, sebelum other musicians do their part.

Selepas ja balik dari mombo-hombo, trus sa mix and master lagu Ivye. Dua lagu yang agak rancak, sa pun kurang pasti siapa yang cipta. Anyway, the songs are catchy and radio friendly, mcm ada telefon2 gitu hahaha. You can expect something good from my work (ni masuk bakul angkat sendiri sdh ni hahahaha).

Other update, I'd mixed 7 songs untuk lagu Murut (church punya la). Penyanyi DNA (Liou) juga sudah masuk studio. 2 lagu sudah di rakam, so another 8 songs lagi. Lepas balik dari Brunei ni, turus ada recording la kalo tiada aral melintang. Manager dari Maldives pun sibuk2 sdh mengarah hahaha.. oriat la. That's all the update.

Teda update or kurang update website ni lately. Maaf seja la..hehehe. Anyway, project is still strong only I'm not physically in Sabah right now (oredi a week +). Sa tengah sukat jaraya d Hanoi. Will be back this saturday (17th January).  Fully operational next week (harap2). So, those who couldn't contact me lately.. minta maaap la banyak2. Anyway, not wasting so much of your time, enuf 4 this time - but don't forget to comeback ok! No goodies but just updates of your fav artistes.
